The equipment was showcased at a conclave held at the India Habitat Centre on ‘Safe & Healthy Outdoor Spaces in Modern Design’ in the presence of leading policymakers, architects, landscape planners, doctors and key realtors.
According to a press release, creating healthy outdoor spaces which are scientifically-designed to suit all age group has found resonance in Koochie Play’s new product ‘KooFIT’.
At the conclave Roben Dass, CMD, Koochie Play Systems, Samir Mathur, Head, Integral Design, International Studio Pvt. Ltd., Nandita Parikh, NMP Design and Dr. Anil Safaya, an ENT surgeon, stressed on the need for outdoor activity in the urban settings.
Dass said, “For safe and healthy all round growth and development of young Indians we need to keep a check on the nitty-gritty of what goes into manufacturing, development and deployment of playground equipment and application on ground. Unlike developed nations that have most of their land resources developed, India needs to keep in mind the troubles faced by those who lack recreational areas in their societal periphery, keeping in mind the dire need for the regularisation of all our outdoor sports equipment for the youth.”
