Labourhome Plays Vital Role in Building Ola Electric’s Production Facility
Mumbai / September 13, 2024: Workforce management specialist Labourhome has played a key role in building Ola Electric’s massive new two-wheeler manufacturing facility in Hosur. In a statement, the company said it supplied over 700 skilled workers to the project, contributing over 240,000 man-days of labour.
The Hosur facility is a major investment in India’s electric vehicle future, expected to produce a wide range of electric two-wheelers and create thousands of jobs in the region. Labourhome ensured stable employment, provided secure accommodations, and offered healthcare support, directly benefiting 700 construction worker families, the statement added.
Jaishankar, Project Director for the EPC Construction Agency, commented, “The Ola Electric project is one of the largest EV two-wheeler factories in Asia, and its successful completion in record time is a testament to the dedication and efficiency of our partners. Labourhome’s role in managing the workforce was crucial to our success. Their commitment to providing skilled labour and ensuring worker welfare significantly contributed to this landmark project’s timely and successful completion.”
