New Delhi, March 27, 2026: The Buildings & Factories (B&F) vertical of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has announced the acquisition of multiple high-value construction orders across several Indian states, strengthening its industrial and manufacturing portfolio. The contracts, spanning Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh, highlight the firm’s continued expansion into specialized production facilities and complex industrial structures.

In Gujarat, the engineering major has secured a comprehensive mandate for the construction of a Float Glass Plant. The project’s extensive scope involves the design and construction of all civil, steel, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) components, as well as the associated external development required for the facility. Simultaneously, in Andhra Pradesh, L&T has been commissioned by a leading two-wheeler manufacturer to build a state-of-the-art production unit, focusing on the civil, steel, and architectural aspects of the plant.

Beyond these new wins, the B&F business has also secured several add-on orders for its existing projects. The company stated that these additional mandates reflect its “strong execution capabilities and the customer confidence it commands” across its various operational sites. These developments further cement L&T’s position as a preferred partner in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) space.

The B&F vertical maintains a diverse presence across multiple sectors, including hospitals, data centers, airports, and residential spaces. Its industrial expertise is particularly broad, covering automobile plants, solar and battery storage facilities, and food processing units. As a USD 30 billion multinational, L&T noted that its “strong, customer–focussed approach and the constant quest for top-class quality have enabled L&T to attain and sustain leadership in its major lines of business for eight decades.”
