M3M Foundation organises relief drive for cyclone hit Odisha
Gurugram: M3M Foundation in association with Meals of Happiness Charitable Trust ran a major relief drive for the victims of cyclone ‘Fani’ which devastated various districts of Odisha. The relief packages included clothes for men, women and children, groceries, rice, spices, pulses, medical kits and etc. The team from M3M Foundation & MOH charitable trust went on ground with the relief material and covered most of the affected villages of Puri, Odisha. More than 700 families have been benefited by the drive so far.
NP Gupta, CEO, M3M Foundation said ”M3M Foundation stands by the people of Odisha in this time of crisis. We hope through our efforts we are able to make a small difference to people’s lives.”
Hundreds of thousands of people were left homeless after a cyclone packing winds of about 200 km per hour slammed into eastern India, ripping out tin roofs and destroying power and telecom lines and damaging the infrastructure. A million people were evacuated from impact regions of Odisha and taken to storm shelters.
