Marriott International, Vardhman Amrante Ink Deal to Debut Westin Hotels & Resorts in Punjab

New Delhi, July 1, 2025: Vardhman Amrante has announced a strategic tie-up to develop a hotel project in Ludhiana. The hotel will comprise 200 keys and will function under the brand “Westin Hotels and Resorts”. The development cost is estimated to be around INR 260 crore.
The signing, which was conducted in Delhi, paves the way for a major hospitality trend in Ludhiana, Punjab. The city is renowned as a vibrant hub of commerce and culture, offers the ideal backdrop for the debut of the Westin brand, one that places a strong emphasis on well-being and is thoughtfully designed to inspire guests, promote rejuvenation and support wellness routines while on the move.

Ludhiana stands as one of Punjab’s most influential centres for industry, trade, agriculture and logistics. Its strategic location enables seamless connectivity to key cities like Patiala, Bathinda, Delhi, Jalandhar, Moga and Amritsar, reinforcing its importance as a regional powerhouse.
The upcoming Westin hotel will enjoy excellent access with just 20 minutes from Ludhiana Railway Station, 1.5 hours from Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport, Chandigarh, 10–15 minutes from the Ludhiana city centre and 15-20 minutes from the upcoming Halwara Airport, which will further enhance connectivity.
Westin Ludhiana is planned to feature multiple dining options, including a Lobby Bar, WestinWORKOUT Fitness studio, the brand’s signature Heavenly Spa by Westin, swimming pool as well as an exclusive Executive Club Lounge. The hotel also plans to feature large and versatile banqueting space, including an expansive outdoor lawn, perfect for both large-scale and intimate gatherings, as well as social and corporate events.
