NBCC and DDA sign MoU for East Delhi TOD project

A memorandum of understanding was signed in New Delhi on February 27 between the National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) and Delhi Development Authority (DDA) for execution of East Delhi hub at Karkardooma based on Transit Oriented Development (TOD) norms and Smart City principles.
Delhi Lt-Governor Najeeb Jung, who is also the ex officio Chairman of DDA, was present at the ceremony.
Among those who took part in the signing ceremony included Anoop Kumar Mittal, CMD of NBCC, Balvinder Kumar, Vice-Chairman, DDA, SK Chaudhary, Director (Projects), NBCC, and Alok Rastogi, Chief General Manager (Real Estate), NBCC.
The Karkardooma TOD project of DDA will come up on a 70-acre plot where there would be corporate towers, commercial area, studio apartments, old-age apartments and other residential units. There will also be a green area.
