NBCC holds yoga sessions on International Yoga Day

State-owned Navratna CPSU NBCC (India) Limited organised yoga sessions and seminars at its corporate and other offices across the country on the occasion of the International Yoga Day on June 21

At the corporate office in New Delhi, the sessions were organised under a trained yoga teacher from the Morarji Desai Institute of Yoga, New Delhi. CMD Anoop Kumar Mittal, senior executives and employees of the company attended the sessions and performed various Yoga asans.

A seminar on ‘Meditation as Medicine’ was also organised on the occasion. It was inaugurated by the CMD of the company and conducted by BK Pius, Director, Prajapita Brahama Kumaris Ishwaiya Vishwa Vidyalaya. Pius dwelt at length on the importance of meditation in daily life and the significant role that yoga and meditation can play for stress management and development of positive attitude.

More than 50 officials including the top management representatives attended the programme.
