Pacific D21 Mall to Present Theatrical Rendition of Manto’s Toba Tek Singh on September 21

New Delhi / September 20, 2024: Pacific D21 Mall, Dwarka will present Pagalkhana, a theatrical rendition of Saadat Hasan Manto’s celebrated story Toba Tek Singh. The performance will be held in association with Kabuliwala on September 21, 2024, the statement said in a press statement.
Kamal Kabuliwala will lead the performance, which will bring to life the timeless tale of Bishan Singh, a man lost between two nations grappling with the madness of the political divide. Pagalkhana will also feature other stories from Manto’s repertoire, adding depth to the performance with its exploration of human emotions in complex times, the statement added.

Abhishek Bansal, Executive Director of Pacific Group, expressed his thoughts, saying, “At Pacific D21 Mall, we believe in offering our visitors more than just a shopping experience. Hosting events like Pagalkhana allows us to contribute to the cultural landscape by celebrating timeless literature and thought-provoking performances. Tickets are priced at Rs 100 and Rs 200 and can be purchased via Paytm or BookMyShow. The performance will start at 7 PM, offering an evening of immersive storytelling that delves into the themes of partition, identity, and human nature.
