New Delhi, March 19, 2026: Panasonic Life Solutions India has officially launched the VL-VQ Series, a sophisticated SIP-based IP Video Intercom System designed to meet the intensifying security needs of India’s rapidly expanding gated communities and high-rise developments. Unveiled on March 19, 2026, the new system introduces a three-layered security framework that integrates building entrances, individual residences, and central security operations into a single, unified platform, the company said in a press statement.

As urban infrastructure in India pivots toward large-scale integrated townships, the VL-VQ Series addresses the demand for scalable, intelligent access management. The system operates through Panasonic’s Center Management Software (CMS), allowing security teams to monitor IP cameras and visitor activity in real time. Residents benefit from high-tech entry options, including face recognition, QR codes, and smartphone-based remote unlocking, ensuring seamless but tightly controlled access across expansive residential complexes.

The hardware suite includes the VL-VQ9000SX Lobby Display Station, featuring a 7-inch touch-enabled IPS display and night vision, and the VL-VQ3000SX Room Monitor, which offers Full HD video recording and Wi-Fi connectivity for mobile integration. For central monitoring, the Android-based VL-VQ7000SX Guard Station supports industry-standard protocols like SIP and RTSP, allowing it to integrate with third-party security devices and existing IP CCTV infrastructures.

Gunjan Sachdev, Associate Director & National Business Chief of Security Solutions at Panasonic Life Solutions India, noted that the system is specifically tailored for the complexity of modern Indian developments. “At Panasonic, our focus is on developing integrated security ecosystems that address the evolving needs of modern residential communities. As urban infrastructure expands and residential developments become larger and more complex, the demand for intelligent, connected security solutions continues to grow. Our IP Video Intercom System is designed to deliver enhanced access management, seamless communication, and centralized monitoring, enabling safer and smarter living environments for residents while supporting efficient security management for developers and facility teams,” Sachdev added.

In addition to the enterprise-grade ecosystem for townships, Panasonic also introduced the KIT Model-VL-VQS300. This simplified version bundles a Door Station and Room Monitor into an easy-to-install package, targeting individual homeowners and smaller residential setups that require core communication and access features without the need for a full-scale multi-device network.
