PM opens NBCC-executed ESIC hospital in Coimbatore

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 500-bed ESIC Medical College & Hospital at Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu on February 2.
The hospital has been executed by NBCC, a Navratna CPSE and the value of the project is Rs.560 crore.
Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah, Minister of State for Labour and Employment (I/C) Bandaru Dattatreya, Minister of State for Road Transport & Highways and Shipping P Radhakrishnan, Tamil Nadu Minister for Rural Industries and Labour P Mohan; Labour Secretary Shankar Aggarwal and Dr. Anoop Kumar Mittal, CMD, NBCC, were among other dignitaries present on the occasion.
Since its inception in 1960, NBCC has been executing hospital and medical college projects in various part of the country for state governments, ESIC and other Government bodies and has also executed super-specialty hospital projects overseas.
