Ramky Infrastructure Wins ₹1,401.84 Crore Contract from MITL for Dighi Port Industrial Area Project

Ramky Infrastructure Limited

Mumbai, March 7, 2026: Ramky Infrastructure Limited has entered into an agreement with Maharashtra Industrial Township Limited (MITL) for a massive development project. The contract, valued at Rs 1,401.84 crore inclusive of GST and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) revenues, focuses on Phase 1 infrastructure works for the Dighi Port Industrial Area (DPIA) under the prestigious Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC), the company said in a press statement.

The project is situated in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, where MITL – a Special Purpose Vehicle formed by the Government of India and the Maharashtra State Government – is developing “Parcel B” of the industrial area. The comprehensive scope of work requires Ramky Infrastructure to handle end-to-end delivery, ranging from initial design and engineering to construction, testing, and commissioning. The infrastructure package is extensive, covering road networks, stormwater systems, water treatment and distribution, sewerage systems, power distribution, and utility ducts for ICT.

According to the terms of the agreement, the construction phase must be completed within 930 days from the appointed date. Following the Commercial Operation Date (COD), Ramky will manage a four-year performance-based O&M period, which remains extendable upon mutual discussion. The company intends to execute the project using its internal engineering and planning capabilities, integrating operational preparedness into the roadmap from the very beginning to ensure a seamless transition from construction to service delivery.

Commenting on the contract, Mr. Sunil Nair, CEO of Ramky Infrastructure Ltd, emphasized the strategic importance of the win. “This LOA reinforces our execution-led strategy focused on selective, large-format opportunities, where engineering depth, commissioning discipline, and lifecycle accountability are critical. DPIA is a high-importance industrial corridor assignment, and we will apply our in-house delivery systems to ensure predictable commissioning and performance outcomes, supported by the four-year performance-based O&M commitment embedded in the scope. Once delivered, this infrastructure will strengthen industrial readiness at Dighi by enabling reliable utilities and smoother on-ground operations for businesses setting up in the area,” he said.

The project is expected to significantly enhance the industrial landscape of the Raigad region, providing the necessary utility backbone to attract global and domestic businesses to the Dighi Port area. By leveraging standardized monitoring and delivery controls, Ramky Infrastructure aims to meet the strict timelines associated with the DMIC’s broader goal of fostering world-class industrial hubs across the country.
