Ramky Infrastructure Limited

Mumbai, March 5, 2026: Ramky Infrastructure Limited has announced the signing of an agreement with Maharashtra Industrial Township Limited (MITL) to deliver comprehensive infrastructure works for Phase 1 of the Dighi Port Industrial Area (DPIA). The contract, valued at Rs 1,401.84 crore inclusive of GST and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) revenues, marks a significant milestone in the development of the Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC). Under the terms of the agreement, the project is slated for completion within 930 days from the appointed date, followed by a four-year O&M period that remains extendable upon mutual discussion.

According to a press release, the project is situated in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, where MITL—a Special Purpose Vehicle formed by the Government of India and the Maharashtra State Government—is developing “Parcel B” of the industrial zone. The extensive scope of work covers the entire project lifecycle, from initial design and engineering to construction, testing, and commissioning. This infrastructure package includes the development of essential industrial networks, such as roads, stormwater systems, water treatment and distribution, sewerage systems, recycled water distribution, power grids, and utility ducts for ICT.

Ramky Infrastructure plans to execute the mandate using its specialized internal engineering, planning, and commissioning capabilities. The company’s strategy involves integrating operations preparedness directly into the construction roadmap to ensure a seamless transition from the commissioning phase to performance-based operations. By utilizing standardized monitoring and delivery controls, the firm aims to ensure consistent service outcomes and long-term utility reliability for the industrial hub.

Sunil S Nair CEO of Ramky Infra Ltd

Commenting on the contract, Sunil Nair, CEO, Ramky Infrastructure Ltd, said, “This LOA reinforces our execution-led strategy focused on selective, large-format opportunities, where engineering depth, commissioning discipline, and lifecycle accountability are critical. DPIA is a high-importance industrial corridor assignment, and we will apply our in-house delivery systems to ensure predictable commissioning and performance outcomes, supported by the four-year performance-based O&M commitment embedded in the scope. Once delivered, this infrastructure will strengthen industrial readiness at Dighi by enabling reliable utilities and smoother on-ground operations for businesses setting up in the area.”
