Gurugram, May 1, 2025: The Reach Group, under its CSR initiative IRRAH, sponsored ‘Mission Manikarnika’, a special self-defence initiative for young women and students in Gurugram.
The initiative, organised by the Gurugram Police and the Saraswati Pathshala Foundation at the Girls College, Sector 14 Campus, was inspired by the valour and spirit of Rani Lakshmi Bai.
Aiming to promote courage, self-reliance, and patriotism among young girls, the initiative intended to empower them through intensive self-defence training, leadership development and confidence-building activities.
The programme commenced with a press conference and poster unveiling on April 17, followed by an inaugural ceremony on April 21. An intensive training camp was conducted from April 22 to April 25 offering young participants hands-on sessions in self-defence techniques under expert supervision.
The initiative culminated with a mega demonstration on April 28 in which the participants showcased the skills and techniques learned during the camp.

On the occasion, Amandeep Hora, founder, IRRAH (the Group’s CSR initiative), said, “At Reach Group, we believe in empowering the future generation and ‘Mission Manikarnika’ is a step towards that.”
By supporting this initiative, “we are not only contributing to the personal safety of young girls in Gurugram but also fostering leadership, self-reliance, and the courage to face challenges head-on. The courage and spirit of Rani Lakshmi Bai inspire us all, and we are proud to stand behind such a transformative programme”.

IRRAH director Raqesh Mutreja said, “Empowering women through skill-building is vital for advancing society, and we are committed to fostering an environment that nurtures leadership, independence and self-confidence among young girls.”
By supporting the Gurugram Police and Saraswati Pathshala Foundation, he said, “We are helping create opportunities that allow these young girls to realise their true potential and face the future with strength and courage.”
