Red Fort Capital to invest Rs 1Kcr in Lotus Greens
Lotus Greens group has announced that Red Fort Capital, one of the leading real estate private equity (PE) firms, will be investing Rs 1,000 crore in various projects in its real estate wing, the company release said on Monday.
Commenting on the development, Nirmal Singh, founder of Lotus Greens said, “We are happy to associate with Red Fort Capital which will invest an amount of Rs 1,000 crore in our company. So far, Red Fort Capital has already committed Rs 365 crore, we will utilise this fund for the development of our various projects in Delhi- NCR region.”
However, Lotus Greens vice chairman P Sahel said, “This is one of the largest PE investments in Indian real estate industry in recent times and is a clear demonstration of Red Fort Capital’s faith in long term growth prospects of lotus greens. Very soon, we will be launching our new township project in Gurgaon followed by group housing on Yamuna Expressway.”
Lotus Greens is a diversified group with an interest in real estate, hospitality, health care and education.
