RICS has Colliers International as knowledge partner for thought leadership events on corporate real estate and facility management

RICS is committed to setting and upholding highest standards of professional excellence and integrity – providing impartial, authoritative advice affecting business and society. As a knowledge manager and think tank, RICS looks to provide significant and substantive inputs to Government policy and advocacy and brings together key industry stakeholders (Government, Developers, Occupiers, Lenders, Financers, Investors, Suppliers, and Consultants etc.) for our thought leadership initiatives, which take the form of industry conferences and leadership forums. These events discuss and debate important policy and regulatory matters, along with market trends, opportunities and challenges that shape the built environment sector.
RICS recently set-up a Leadership Forum on Corporate Real Estate & Facility Management, to create a collaborative and participative platform that will aide in steering and leading the dialogue on key issues related to the sector and its professionals. Forum members comprise of senior industry professionals, who are experts and leaders in their respective field and can help provide the organisation with sound business advice and bring fresh ideas, in order for RICS to be an ‘advocate of change’ and address key industry issues, leverage important relationships and embed standards at the very heart of the sector.
As part of this framework ‘Colliers International’ will be Knowledge Partner for the key leadership forums and a large industry conference that RICS plans to organise this year in the CRE & FM sector, as part of its calendar of events. These events will take place across Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. The partnership with Colliers will aid in highlighting the importance and relevance of Corporate Real Estate in India and how its leading the performance of the overall realty sector and contributing to economic growth. The focus will also be on the changing face of facility management professionals and services, and how it’s evolving and impacting reality businesses.

RICS conferences and events provide a unique platform to showcase ideas and knowledge and we are extremely pleased to be working with Colliers International to explore specific trends that lie within the corporate real estate and facility management domains; discuss enablers and disruptors of business; and focus on policy, reform, standards and professionalism in the sector. Colliers is ideally placed to share expert insights and knowledge on the CRE & FM domain through reports and white papers, which will be produced in their capacity as Knowledge Partner.

The first leadership forum that RICS is organising with Colliers International as Knowledge Partner is scheduled to take place in Mumbai on 29th May, followed by RICS’ large Corporate Real Estate and Facility Management focused conference planned for July 2019 in Bengaluru.
