RICS Signs MOU with WBSCTVED to Strengthen Collaboration in the Built Environment Sector

New Delhi, July 12, 2023: The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBSCTVED). This collaborative agreement aims to foster a deeper partnership between the two organizations and promote excellence in the field of civil engineering and the built environment.

RICS and WBSCTVED have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen their collaboration in the built environment sector. Under this agreement, both parties aim to explore various areas of cooperation and mutual support. RICS will assist WBSCTVED in revising and modifying existing courses related to the built environment, ensuring they align with industry best practices. Additionally, RICS and WBSCTVED will work together to generate awareness and recognition of the civil engineering programme among students and stakeholders in the built environment sector. The organizations will also explore the possibility of jointly launching training programmes, faculty development programmes, internship opportunities, and student exchange programmes. Furthermore, they will share information on regulatory frameworks and development, fostering a deeper understanding of industry regulations and standards.
