Mumbai, July 6, 2026: Real estate developer Runwal Realty has announced a strategic expansion into social infrastructure with plans to establish three schools across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). The educational facilities will be located in Mulund, Chembur, and Thane. Construction has officially commenced on the first project, an International Baccalaureate (IB) institution situated in Chembur, marking the company’s formal entry into the education sector, Runwal Realty said in a press release.
The upcoming Chembur campus is being developed within a green environment featuring a dedicated playground of over 12,000 square feet for sports and recreation. Upon completion, the seven-story (G+7) school building is designed to integrate advanced learning technology, dedicated sports facilities, and contemporary educational spaces. Company literature notes that the ecosystem is built to foster academic excellence and holistic student development for families residing in and around Mumbai’s eastern suburbs.
The initiative aligns with the developer’s broader corporate strategy to embed essential community services within its regional real estate footprint.
