SAIL Teams Up With McKinsey & Company India to Propel Digital Transformation

New Delhi, March 24, 2025: Maharatna PSU Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has signed a strategic agreement with McKinsey & Company India LLP to spearhead a comprehensive digital transformation program in the company. This collaboration, for engagement of consultant for SAIL digital transformation, marks a significant step toward enhancing operational efficiency, customer experience and technological innovation.
This agreement aims to modernize business processes, optimize performance, and drive sustainable growth in an increasingly digital landscape which will enable SAIL to integrate state-of-the-art digital capabilities, ensuring that the company remains competitive and deliver superior value to our customers. SAIL and McKinsey will work together to implement cutting-edge digital solutions, leveraging advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, and data analytics.
The digital transformation project will focus on key areas of process value chain from mines to marketing, ensuring seamless integration of innovative solutions while maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance and aims at an ambitious target of value realization in tune of INR 1,000 crore per annum with a timeline of 3 years.
