Savills India Announces Leadership Expansion
August 9, 2024: Savills India, a global real estate consulting firm, has announced a strategic leadership expansion by elevating Sarita Grace Hunt to Managing Director, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, effective August 1, 2024. This move is a strategic leadership development reflecting Savills’ commitment to growth and excellence.
Sarita Hunt, who has been pivotal in the success of the Savills Bengaluru office, will now take on the additional responsibility of managing and leading the Hyderabad office. With over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, Sarita has a proven track record of setting up successful teams. Her visionary, people-centric approach and strong relationships with major occupiers, developers, and funds across the country are expected to accelerate the business growth of the Savills Hyderabad business.
Hyderabad has seen substantial economic growth, largely driven by the IT-BPM and pharmaceuticals sectors and has emerged as a leading hub for pharmaceuticals. This economic boom has stimulated growth in related industries, including infrastructure and real estate. The city has transformed itself into a challenger city to Bangalore and Sarita’s leadership will be instrumental in leveraging the city’s upcoming opportunities.

“Sarita is an accomplished leader who helped establish our Bengaluru office and has grown it into one of our most profitable businesses. With her exceptional leadership and strategic vision, I am confident that our Hyderabad business will also achieve significant new milestones. I’m immensely proud of how seamlessly we’ve managed this major transition, which demonstrates the depth and strength of our leadership,” commented Anurag Mathur, CEO of Savills India.

“I am excited to take on the additional responsibility of leading our Hyderabad business alongside my current role. Hyderabad is a vibrant and dynamic market and I look forward to working closely with our talented team to drive the firm’s vision and achieve new milestones together. This role will help leverage synergies between clients and their growth plans and it promises to bring exciting challenges and opportunities,” said Sarita Hunt, Managing Director – Bengaluru & Hyderabad, Savills India.
The Hyderabad office, established in 2020, was previously led by Sesha Sai, who has decided to retire in pursuit of personal interests.
