Sikka Charitable Trust Organises Chabeel Seva and Guru Ka Langar to Mark Martyrdom Day of Guru Arjan Dev Ji

New Delhi, June 18, 2026: On the occasion of the martyrdom day of the fifth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, Sikka Charitable Trust organised Chabeel Seva, the traditional serving of cold, sweetened water, alongside Guru Ka Langar at its Preet Vihar corporate office. Moving forward with a spirit of deep devotion and community service, a large number of devotees, local residents, business associates, and company employees gathered at the venue to pay tribute to Guru Sahib, Sikka Charitable Trust said in a press release.

The community event was hosted at the Sikka office premises located at C-60, Vikas Marg, Preet Vihar. Throughout the day, special arrangements were maintained to seamlessly serve the public, creating an atmosphere that resonated with the foundational messages of selfless service, dedication, and universal humanity. The occasion was also graced by prominent political figures, including Bharatiya Janata Party leader and North East Delhi Lok Sabha MP Manoj Tiwari, alongside BJP leader and Gandhi Nagar constituency MLA Arvinder Singh Lovely, both of whom joined the Sangat in the service activities and paid their formal respects.

During the gathering, the Sangat reflected closely on the life of Guru Arjan Dev Ji, honouring his enduring spirit of sacrifice, patience, and the supreme sacrifice he ultimately made for the sake of humanity. In a collective demonstration of solidarity, attendees pledged to embrace Guru Sahib’s core teachings to actively foster a spirit of love, brotherhood, and service within modern society.

Speaking on the occasion, the management of Sikka Charitable Trust stated that the life of Guru Arjan Dev Ji stands as a magnificent example of sacrifice, endurance, service, and dedication to humanity. They further noted that his martyrdom day continues to inspire people to work selflessly for the welfare of others.
