Somany opens two Grande showrooms in Capital

Delhi NCR, 11^th May 2017: India’s largest ceramics company, Somany Ceramics Ltd, further strengthened its network by inaugurating two Somany Grande showroom in Dwarka and Gurgaon. Shree Balaji Sanitary Pvt. Ltd is suitably located at Patel Garden, Dwarka Mor, New Delhi and Anand Buildway is located in the heart of Gurgaon at SCO 302 Sector 29 City Centre. The stores were inaugurated by Mr. Abhishek Somany, MD, Somany Ceramics Limited and Mr. Sanjay Kalra, President – Sales & Marketing, Somany Ceramics Limited.

Somany Ceramics Limited currently has 1,800 dealers with over 12000 touch points across India. The company Plans to open 200 additional franchisee showrooms and experience centers by the end of FY 2017-18. Somany Ceramics recently trebled its sanitaryware production capacity from 3.03 lakh units to 11.50 units per annum. The company’s turnover was INR 1,910 crore last year and is expected grow multifold with this expansion in the next three to four years.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Abhishek Somany, MD, Somany Ceramics Limited said, “Our network expansion plays a vital role in the growth strategy we have charted for Somany Ceramics. Delhi plays an important role in our expansion plan as it contributes a substantial proportion to our overall sales as the city has one of the highest number of Somany showrooms & dealer outlets.”

He further added, “We have recently tripled our sanitaryware production capacity and within a year we want to establish our bathroom fittings production plant in India. Somany Ceramics is currently amongst the top 10 ceramics players in the world and we aim to be among in the top key players when it comes to sanitaryware and bathroom fittings.”

The showroom at Dwarka Mor is spread over 3500 sq. ft. and the Gurgaon showroom is spread over 2500 sq. ft. which will offer premier tiles, sanitary ware and bath fittings from the house of Somany Ceramics Limited.
