Supreme Court Bar Association jointly with Vakilsearch launches “Go-Digital” initiative
Powered by Vakilsearch’s Libra- the Advocate’s App, “Go-Digital” initiative is aimed at digital empowerment of the legal ecosystem.
New Delhi, 17th April 2019: Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) has joined hands with Vakilsearch, a technology-driven platform committed to organising the professional services industry in India, for the launch of one-of-a-kind Go-Digital initiative. In line with PM Modi’s Digital India movement, the SCBA’s weeklong Go-Digital initiative in association with Vakilsearch is a strong step forward towards digital empowerment of the legal ecosystem.
Go-Digital initiative is powered by Vakilsearch’s Libra – the Advocate’s App. SCBA’s “Go Digital” initiative in association with Vakilsearch is aimed at launching the mobile application wherein the features like daily case listing, case tracking, daily orders, office report and the directory of SCBA members. The staff of Vakilsearch shall be readily available at the venue from April 1 to 6 from 10am to 5pm to meet the requirements of downloading the Mobile Application on the mobile phones of the SCBA members.
Speaking at the launch of the SCBA’s Digital Initiative, Mr. Hrishikesh Datar, CEO, Vakilsearch said, “The SCBA’s Go Digital initiative is a win-win for all the stakeholders involved and we are happy to contribute to this exciting endeavour. It will help advocates to quickly access data and retrieve information on their cases, orders, office reports and also comes equipped with a smart display board. We believe this initiative of the SCBA is a visionary step in the march to a digital legal system.”
The path-breaking initiative in a nutshell will empower over 13,500 members of the Supreme Court Bar Association with instant access to case details, daily orders as well as access to millions of judgements at one click on Vakilsearch’s Libra App. Additionally, the SCBA Digital initiative can also help lawyers alert their clients about the real-time status of their cases.
As a one-stop case management tool, Libra — The Advocate’s app provides unlimited access with access to millions of judgments besides unlimited alerts on case updates, Google assisted calendar for the lawyers to manage their appointments and unlimited case auto import facility. Most importantly, advocates can go online in 60 seconds or less, with minimal data input from their end. Libra, the advocate’s App can be downloaded on Google Play Store & App Store respectively.
