Telangana Chief Minister Unveils 3rd IGBC Green Property Show 2026
Hyderabad, April 10, 2026: Telangana Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy officially launched the brochure for the third edition of the IGBC Green Property Show 2026, signaling a reinforced state commitment to a Net Zero future.
According to a press release, the event, organized by the CII Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) with the Government of Telangana serving as the State Partner, is scheduled to take place from May 22 to May 24, 2026, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre. The unveiling ceremony included high-profile dignitaries such as Dr. Yogita Rana (IAS), Sudha Reddy of Megha Engineering, and A. Dakshayani of the Ramky Foundation, all of whom gathered to support the advancement of sustainable urban development.
The upcoming exhibition will operate under the theme “Better Homes for You!” and aims to bridge the gap between eco-conscious developers and modern homebuyers. By showcasing a wide array of IGBC-certified and pre-certified residential and commercial projects, the show highlights the tangible advantages of green architecture, including superior indoor air quality, significant reductions in energy and water consumption, and lower long-term utility costs. Beyond property listings, the event will also feature a curated selection of eco-friendly products and technologies designed to make sustainable living more accessible to the general public.
State officials believe that the widespread adoption of these green building practices will significantly optimize Telangana’s energy and water infrastructure by lowering overall resource demand. This strategic shift not only enhances the quality of life for residents but also positions the state as a national model for environmentally responsible growth. Visitors to the three-day event, ranging from individual tenants to large-scale investors, will be able to explore innovative solutions that support a healthier and more responsible lifestyle.

Shekhar Reddy, National Chairman of the CII IGBC, noted that the city’s role in the environmental movement is expanding rapidly. “Hyderabad has emerged as a leading hub for sustainable development in India, and the 3rd IGBC Green Property Show reflects the growing momentum of the green building movement. The platform brings together developers, homebuyers, and industry stakeholders to showcase innovations in green homes and infrastructure. We thank the Government of Telangana for its continued support in strengthening the state’s leadership in sustainable urban development. We invite citizens to experience how green buildings can deliver healthier living, lower operating costs, and long-term environmental benefits,” Reddy stated during the launch.
