Two new Members join U.P. RERA
Lucknow/ Gautambuddh Nagar– Two new members, T. Venktesh, IAS UP 1988 (Retd.) and Dr. Deepak Swaroop Saxena, HJS (Higher Judicial Services) Ex-District Judge, joined Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (U.P. RERA) on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.
A press release issued by the Authority says that, U.P. RERA has decided that, both the members will be working from NCR Regional office of the Authority at Gr. Noida, Gautam Buddh Nagar. 75 per cent complaints of U.P. RERA belong to districts of NCR that includes Gautambudh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Muzzafarnagar etc. It is expected that with the joining of these two members, the hearings of complaints of the allottees and other activities of RERA will gain momentum.
T. Venktesh has been retired in January 2022 as Additional Chief Secretary Agriculture. Dr. Deepak Kumar Saxena has been retired as District Judge from Gonda district.
