Umang Jindal Highlights Punjab’s Business Potential at BuildX Punjab Business Conclave 2025
Chandigarh, July 11, 2025: Global Sikhs organised the BuildX Punjab Business Conclave 2025 at Hyatt Regency, Chandigarh, on Friday with the vision of nurturing a dynamic business ecosystem in Punjab. The conclave brought together an inspiring mix of business leaders, visionaries, entrepreneurs and changemakers from across the region, serving as a vibrant platform for dialogue, collaboration and forward-looking action.

The highlight of the evening was Umang Jindal, CEO, Homeland Group, who featured prominently as a panellist in the opening session, titled ‘Building Scalable Businesses from the Heart of Punjab’. As a next-generation entrepreneur redefining the real estate landscape of north India, Jindal brought a fresh perspective on innovation, scalability and regional development.
“Punjab’s entrepreneurial spirit is unmatched. With the right focus on infrastructure, sustainability and new-age thinking, we can build scalable ventures that not only grow but lead,” Jindal said.
Joining an elite panel comprising industry veterans such as Harjinder Singh Cheema (Cheema Boilers Ltd.), Upkar Singh Ahuja (New Swan Group), Harmeek Singh (Plan B Group), Rana Gurjeet Singh (Rana Group of Companies) and Jasmeet S. Anand (Real One Ventures), Jindal emphasised the unique role Punjab can play in the country’s economic future.
The conclave featured three high-powered panel discussions covering topics like ‘Building Global Infrastructure Platforms’ and ‘Why Staying in Punjab is the Next Big Move’. The sessions collectively highlighted how Tier 2 cities like Mohali and Chandigarh are fast emerging as powerhouses of talent, investment and innovation.
The event concluded with a title sponsor address, recognitions and a networking dinner that furthered the vision of a collaborative and future-ready Punjab.
