UP RERA Awards Certificates to 131 Agents
Lucknow/Gautam Buddh Nagar, March 25, 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) on Wednesday awarded certificates to successful candidates of the 30th, 31st, and 32nd batches under the “Agent Training Certification Programme” at its headquarters in Lucknow. On this occasion, UP RERA Chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy handed over certificates to 131 agents.
This training programme was first launched in December 2024 at Literacy House in Lucknow. Since then, training sessions have been continuously organized across the state. The training is mandatory for all agents, whether they are already registered with UP RERA or seeking fresh registration.
The training is conducted over four days. During the first three days, participants are provided in-depth knowledge on the UPRERA Act, Rules and Regulations, Allottees Rights and Responsibilities, legal aspects of property transactions, and responsibilities of promoters. A written examination is conducted on the fourth day, and certificates are awarded only to those who successfully pass the exam. The fee for this training is ₹6,000, and applications are accepted online through the official website of UP RERA.
So far, a total of 36 batches of training have been organized. More than 2,500 candidates have registered, and 1570 have participated in the training programme. Results up to the 29th batch have been declared, and a total of 1,189 candidates have appeared in the examination and successfully passed.

Addressing the programme, UP RERA Chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy said that trained agents play an important role in ensuring transparency and accountability in the real estate sector. He stated that agents are not merely intermediaries but responsible stakeholders who help safeguard consumer interests. After training, agents become capable of providing proper guidance to buyers and investors, which helps reduce disputes and strengthens consumer confidence. He further said that UP RERA is committed to improving the training system and that online modules may soon be introduced so that interested agents across the state can easily avail the training.
