The book compiles key directions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) issued by the Authority, organized by subject and arranged chronologically, a statement from UP RERA said.
The book starts with a collection of instructions and SOPs related to key aspects of real estate projects, such as project registration and modifications, ownership and liability of project plots, registration extensions, proposals under Sections 8 and 15, registration withdrawals, and the status of OC/CC (Occupation Certificate/Completion Certificate) for projects. It also covers procedures for maintaining project-related bank accounts and guidelines on carpet area measurements.
Additionally, the book compiles instructions and SOPs for filing complaints with RERA, hearings before the bench, complaint resolution, and implementation of orders, along with guidance on complaint edits and resolutions through the Conciliation Forum. Furthermore, it includes notifications and orders concerning the registration, training, certification, and extension of agents. Directions and SOPs related to the establishment and administrative functioning of the Authority are also featured in the book.
On the occasion of the book’s release, Bhoosreddy stated that the publication compiles instructions and SOPs issued by RERA from its inception up to September 10, 2024. He highlighted that the book will serve as a comprehensive guide for all stakeholders and professionals in the real estate sector.
He emphasized that by following the guidelines, stakeholders will become self-reliant, requiring minimal external support, and will be able to accurately provide records to RERA, advocate in matters, ensure compliance with orders, and handle other related tasks efficiently. The initiative aims to enhance credibility between RERA and its stakeholders while promoting self-reliance and operational efficiency, the statement added.
