UP RERA Implements E-Office System for Faster Case Resolution
Lucknow / Gautam Budh Nagar: Following the success of the e-court model, the Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) has now implemented the ‘e-office system.’ This system has been introduced to streamline daily operations following the Authority’s orders, enhancing efficiency and ensuring transparency and accountability in completing pending tasks promptly. The digital records of all files will benefit all stakeholders in the real estate sector, as it will facilitate easier access to approvals from competent officers, UP Rera said in a statement.
On September 30, 2024, Sanjay Bhoosreddy, Chairman of UP RERA, officially launched the Authority’s new e-office system by processing files from the Lucknow office. To ensure data security and expedite case handling, UP RERA has partnered with NIC for secure e-office services. The Chairman reaffirmed the Authority’s dedication to timely resolution of all RERA-related cases. The event was attended by UP RERA members, officers, and staff.
The need for physical files for coordination between the headquarters and regional offices will be eliminated, enabling quicker action on matters requiring advance processing. This transition is expected to save valuable time for the Authority and stakeholders, allowing for faster resolution of cases presented to the Authority, the statement added.
E-office streamlines document handling by digitizing incoming files. These files can be processed electronically for approvals, eliminating the need for physical transfers. Once approved, documents can be forwarded to the next level, with built-in follow-up features. Regional Office Noida can now send files to Lucknow for approval, and the process will be completed and returned on the same day. This ensures timely disposal of important documents and provides automated reminders. By minimizing human error, e-office accelerates case processing and improves efficiency.
