UP RERA set to scrutiny escrow accounts, says Balvinder Kumar, Member, UP RERA

Noida, June 2020: We are going to examine escrow account of `all the large ongoing projects, says UP RERA Member Balvinder Kumar. Speaking exclusively to R&M TV, Kumar said that, though it has started long back, but now the details have been finalised. The UP RERA Member informed that the modalities of scrutinising the accounts have almost been finalised. Kumar added that soon audit teams of the Authority will start scrutinising the escrow accounts of large ongoing projects, which is a very important step which taken by UP RERA.

Kumar said audit teams for this purpose has already been constituted. “We have employed Chartered Accountants, our finance department is taking care of it and they will be starting their work soon”, said Kumar.
