US Grocery Conglomerate Hy-Vee Moves to a New Location with 54,000 sq. ft. Bengaluru Office

Bengaluru, August 12, 2024: Hy-Vee, Inc., a retail grocery conglomerate headquartered in west Des Moines, Iowa, has announced its move to a new office location in Bangalore, further enhancing its footprint in India.
The 54,000-square-foot facility, situated in Karle Tech Park on the Outer Ring Road, aims to drive innovation and enhance operational efficiency. Hy-Vee previously incorporated its Global Capability Center (GCC) in April 2023, at Manyata Tech Park, Bengaluru. Currently, its technology center, Helpful Smiles Technology (HST) Global, employs close to 200 people. The new office features workspaces for up to 350 people and has a garden city theme, 17 meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, and phone pods. The office also boasts a Lalbagh-themed glasshouse, providing a unique and inspiring environment for the team.

The new office in Bengaluru was inaugurated by Travis Hoover, Chief Data Officer at HyVee, who commented on the expansion, stating, “We are excited to see the HST Global team’s growth over the last year and a half and look forward to this new space supporting them as they continue to help move Hy-Vee forward as a retail leader.”
The celebration of the new office also involved participation from children from the Cholanayakanhalli Government School, whom Hy-Vee has been supporting over the last year, adding a special touch to the celebration.
