Uttar Pradesh Govt Lays Foundation to Redevelop Busports Across the State, BeTogether to Modernize Six Major Busports

Lucknow, September 6, 2025: In a significant step towards strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s transport infrastructure, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Transport Minister Dayashankar Singh laid the foundation stone for a series of modern busports across the state.
The foundation stone was laid for four of the six busports being developed by BeTogether (an Omaxe Group venture) under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. These include Lucknow (Vibhuti Khand, Gomti Nagar), Ghaziabad (Old), Prayagraj (Civil Lines), and Ayodhya Dham. In addition, BeTogether will also develop the Lucknow (Amausi) and Kaushambi (Ghaziabad) busports. With an investment of around ₹2,700 crore, all six busports will be developed as integrated, future-ready hubs combining passenger convenience with commercial activity.
The event was organized by UPSRTC and attended by Masoom Ali Sarwar (IAS, Managing Director, UPSRTC) and Amit Gupta (IAS, Chairman, UPSRTC and Principal Secretary, Transport Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh). Representing Omaxe and BeTogether were Mohit Goel (Managing Director, Omaxe Group & Founder, BeTogether) and Sunil Kumar Solanki (President & Business Head, BeTogether).

Speaking on the occasion, Mohit Goel, Managing Director, Omaxe Group & Founder, BeTogether said, “UPSRTC’s initiative to modernize busports is a landmark step in Uttar Pradesh’s urban progress and enhanced connectivity. We are proud to be part of this transformation, turning six busports into modern, integrated transit hubs. Our aim goes beyond passenger comfort—we want to unlock new avenues for economic and community growth. Partnering with UPSRTC, we are proud to contribute to strengthening connectivity and infrastructure across the state.”
These new busports are designed to go far beyond traditional bus terminals, evolving into next-generation transit hubs. Features include automated ticketing, digital schedule boards, air-conditioned lounges, escalators, lifts, smart security systems, and charging stations. Alongside these, retail outlets, food courts, banquet halls, studio apartments, and office spaces will create vibrant economic centers in each city.
Each project has been strategically located around key residential and commercial zones to ensure better connectivity and convenience for both passengers and businesses. The development—built on PPP, holistic planning, and Omaxe’s experience—is expected to bridge infrastructure gaps while accelerating socio-economic growth.
