Wave City launches advanced integrated command & control center to enhance security and urban services
New Delhi, April 13, 2026: Wave City, recognized as India’s first privately owned smart city, has announced the launch of its Integrated Command & Control Centre (ICCC), a sophisticated digital backbone designed to transform urban governance. The centralized facility is engineered to enable real-time monitoring and seamless management of smart city services, reinforcing the township’s vision of creating a future-ready, secure, and resident-centric urban ecosystem, the company said in a press release.
Spanning 16,000 square feet, the new facility houses a centralized CCTV surveillance system that provides comprehensive monitoring across the entire city. Beyond its technological functions, the command center operates as a central facility office, providing residents with a single-point interface for all essential services and support. This integrated approach is expected to significantly enhance operational efficiency and ensure a more rapid response to the needs of the community.

Commenting on the significance of the new facility, C J Singh, COO of Wave City, said, “The launch of the Integrated Command & Control Centre represents a major milestone in Wave City’s vision of creating a truly smart and future-ready township. By harnessing advanced technologies and real-time data integration, it not only drives greater operational efficiency but also fosters a safer, more responsive environment for residents.”
The technological infrastructure of the ICCC includes two massive active Video Walls, utilizing cutting-edge COB technology LED screens. Each screen measures approximately 23 feet by 8.8 feet; one is dedicated specifically to smart city services while the other focuses on security and surveillance. The system introduces several advanced features to the township, including Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), intrusion detection, crowd monitoring, and attribute-based search capabilities for missing or left-behind objects.
In addition to security, the command center functions as the nerve center for managing vital citywide infrastructure, including electricity distribution, street lighting, Water Treatment Plants (WTPs), and Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs). The system is designed to immediately detect and record any service disruptions, automatically routing them to the appropriate maintenance teams. This proactive management system aims to ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical urban services and improve the overall quality of life for Wave City residents.
