Wavin acquires new facility at Neemrana
After the recent acquisition of a manufacturing plant in Hyderabad, Wavin, an innovative pipes and fittings solution provider, has announced the acquisition of a new facility at Neemrana in Rajasthan, from Dura-Line.
It is the second acquisition by the company this year to meet the emerging demand for advanced water & gas pipes and fittings for below-ground use and CPVC, uPVC, & SWR pipes for above-ground applications, said a press release.
The Neemrana plant will continue producing advanced water and gas products for below-ground use and invest in other extrusion lines to produce CPVC, uPVC, & SWR pipes for above-ground applications, added the release.
Maarten Roef, President, Wavin, said, “Wavin is now well positioned to serve the growing market of India and greatly contribute to building healthy, sustainable environments. The geographical coverage, which the Neemrana and Hyderabad facilities offer, is quite extensive. Indeed, with these two locations and its warehouses, we are set to efficiently serve the districts where most of the market growth is taking place.”
