YEIDA Approves Major Infrastructure and Policy Initiatives at 93rd Board Meeting
Greater Noida, September 28, 2026: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) approved key infrastructure, industrial, and financial policies at its 93rd Board Meeting. The Authority reported total receipts of Rs 4,222.37 crore up to September 14 for the 2026–27 financial year, reflecting a 182.35% increase compared to the Rs 1,495.43 crore collected during the corresponding period in 2025–26. Total expenditure rose to Rs 5,501.71 crore, with Rs 4,344.34 crore spent on land acquisition and loan repayments, YEIDA said in a press release.
The Board approved the YEIDA Corpus Fund Investment Regulation 2026–27 to manage One Time Lease Rent and non-recurring receipts. Returns from the fund will finance long-term maintenance of roads, water supply, sewerage, drainage, street lights, and green spaces. Under Master Plan-2041, the Board also approved the development of a Multi-Modal Logistics Park aligned with the Uttar Pradesh Multi-Modal Logistics Park Policy-2024, with plot allotments to proceed through e-auction.
Progress on the revised draft Master Plan-2041 for the Agra Urban Centre was reviewed following the disposal of public objections. The Board also examined plans for an 8,000-hectare Industrial Node south of Noida International Airport, where consultant selection for master planning is underway, alongside proposals for an International Trade City modeled on China’s Yiwu International Trade City.
Industrial plot execution was reviewed across several dedicated sectors. Out of 295 industrial plots exceeding 4,000 square metres, 181 lease deeds have been executed and 13 units have commenced production. In Sector-28 Medical Device Park, 123 of 203 plots have been allotted, while 159 plots in the Apparel Park, 503 in the MSME Park, 188 in the Handicraft Park, and 148 in Sector-33 Toy Park have been assigned.
For environmental management, the Authority framed the draft YEIDA Waste Management (Regulation & Control) Bye-Laws, 2026, alongside Detailed Project Reports for solid waste processing.
Regarding farmer welfare, reservation letters for 7% developed land plots have been issued to 10,069 farmers, with 4,978 plots planned across various sectors. The Authority has distributed approximately Rs 3,142 crore in 64.7% additional compensation. Land acquisition through mutual consent in Gautam Buddh Nagar and Bulandshahr is progressing at revised rates of Rs 4,558 per square metre, and Rs 4,037 per square metre along the Expressway, including provision for 7% Abadi plots. Farmers who agreed to previous rates but could not execute sale deeds by August 20, 2026, will now receive the revised higher rates.
