YEIDA Leadership Visits RIICO Neemrana to Study Japanese Industrial Park Model for Upcoming UP Project

Neemrana (Rajasthan), December 22, 2025: A high-level delegation from the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), led by CEO R.K. Singh, conducted a strategic benchmarking visit to the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) in Neemrana. The visit aimed to study the successful establishment and operational framework of the Japanese Industrial Park in Rajasthan to replicate best practices in the upcoming Japanese Industrial City within the YEIDA region.
The meeting was chaired by R.K. Singh (CEO, YEIDA) and co-chaired by Shailendra Kumar Bhatia (Additional CEO, YEIDA). They were joined by ED, EPCMD-India, alongside Sanjay Bagadia (DGM, RIICO) and representatives from consulting agency Ernst & Young (EY).
During the session, RIICO officials delivered a comprehensive presentation on the evolution of the Neemrana Japanese zone.
Key discussion points included:
- Planning & Infrastructure: Tailoring land allocation and zoning to the specific needs of Japanese investors.
- Incentive Frameworks: Specialized financial and administrative incentives offered to international companies.
- Investor Requirements: Understanding the specific logistical and utility expectations of Japanese firms.
- Learnings for YEIDA: How the upcoming park in Uttar Pradesh can optimize its master plan based on the ‘Neemrana Model’.
Following the technical discussions, the YEIDA delegation conducted a field tour of the Japanese Industrial Park to observe the infrastructure and utility management firsthand.

Singh. “The insights gained today regarding land localization and specialized infrastructure will be instrumental as we develop a world-class Japanese Industrial Park in the YEIDA region, further strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s position as a global investment destination.”
The visit concluded with a vote of thanks from the YEIDA leadership, acknowledging the cross-state collaboration as a vital step in India’s broader industrial growth. CEO and ACEO Yeida has also explained the master planning of Yeida and its industrial cluster-based development approach including multimodal connectivity along industrial sectors with upcoming Noida International Airport, Jewar.
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is responsible for the planned development of the industrial corridor along the Yamuna Expressway in Uttar Pradesh, focusing on creating sustainable, technology-driven industrial hubs.
