Yugen Infra Partners With Gary Kirsten, True North Group For New Initiatives
New Delhi, August 7, 2025: Real estate developer Yugen Infra has unveiled two pioneering projects at its flagship township, Yugen Golf City, located near Goa’s MOPA International Airport.
The launch, hosted at The Lalit in New Delhi on Wednesday, welcomed Gary Kirsten, the famous former South African cricketer and India’s 2011 World Cup-winning coach, who was officially announced as Yugen Infra’s strategic partner for the township’s cutting-edge Cricket Villa project and dual-path residential school. Kirsten is joined by Russel Symcox of GK Investments, both of whom will assist in a strategic advisory capacity.
The partnership will see Kirsten and Yugen Infra codevelop exclusive Cricket-Front Villas, which are set to embody India’s unparalleled passion for sports while offering a lifestyle that is unmatched in luxury.

“Partnering with Gary Kirsten is more than a business move; it’s a celebration of India’s cricketing soul. These villas symbolise a dream, where the spirit of the game lives in every breath and breeze,” said Sheeshram Yadav, MD, Yugen Infra.
“At Yugen Infra, we don’t just build homes; we build experiences and legacies. With Cricket Front Villas, we are transforming a nation’s passion into an everyday lifestyle for our residents.”
Educating India’s Future Leaders
The second project unveiled on the evening was the True North International School, an Asia-first residential institution that aims to educate future leaders through a blend of world-class education and elite-level sports training.
Developed in association with the True North Group, the school will be designed across 10 acres of greenery, providing a dual-track form of education that will facilitate the well-being of its students. This visionary institution is set to seamlessly combine world-class academics with elite mentorship in chess, cricket and other competitive sports
“Education is the foundation of any progressive society,” Yadav said. “With True North International School, we are preparing students, not just for careers but for life, equipping them with the discipline of an athlete and the curiosity of a scholar.”
Kirsten said that he’s excited to be part of this groundbreaking development. “We are inspired by strong leadership that prioritises quality education and high-performance sport, which is why we’re partnering on this incredible development. This is a really impactful collaboration. We’re excited to be a part of something that’s set to have such a positive impact.”
An insightful fireside chat at the launch event kick-started conversations on building tomorrow’s champions, both on the fields and in the classroom. Sharing their views on this topic were Kirsten, Aakash Chaudhry, Founder and MD, Sparkl Edventure, and eminent educationists. The evening welcomed many other honourable guests, including professor Harish Chaudhry, department of management studies, IIT Delhi, and Russel Symcox, a key strategic partner to Yugen Infra and True North and director, GK Investments.
Premier school leaders from DPS Society, representatives from GD Goenka and Heritage Group of Schools, alongside global sports mentors, prominent investors and innovators were also present.
