50th Real Estate Agent Training Session Begins in Lucknow
Lucknow, September 24, 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority initiated its 50th Real Estate Agent Training Session at the Indian Literacy Board on Kanpur Road, Lucknow. The four-day program aims to provide 50 participants from across the state with training on RERA-related legislation, professional skills, and ethical standards required for official agent certification and registration.
Sandhya Tiwari, Director of the Indian Literacy Board, inaugurated the event alongside regulatory officials. Mahendra Verma, Secretary of UP RERA, detailed the program schedule and urged attendees to approach each session with dedication.
In her inaugural address, Sandhya Tiwari, Director of the Indian Literacy Board, said, “The credibility of the real estate sector rests on three major pillars—the Promoter (Developer), Real Estate Agent and RERA. Effective coordination among these three stakeholders is extremely important for protecting consumer interests and creating a positive image of the sector.”
She noted that the training provides a platform to address queries regarding key legal frameworks, including the RERA Act, the Apartment Ownership Act, and the Transfer of Property Act. The curriculum aims to enhance legal comprehension so agents can operate independently without facing disadvantage from information gaps.
The initial day included a lecture on the RERA Act and UP-RERA regulations by Abrar Ahmad, Principal Advisor. Additional technical sessions covered the Contract Act and Transfer of Property Act led by Harish Tripathi, Adjudicating Officer; project marketing and portal usage conducted by Ganesh Mishra, System Analyst; and stamp registration provisions delivered by Shanti Bhushan Chaubey, AIG Registrar.
An assessment will take place on the final day under anti-cheating regulations that prohibit electronic devices. Candidates who pass the examination and submit the required registration fees will be granted certified status. Across the preceding 49 training batches held in Lucknow and Greater Noida, over 2,100 candidates completed instruction, resulting in 1,991 certified agents through the 47th batch results release.
