Sunday PropTech Expands Into East With Acquisition Of 89-Room Hotel In Kolkata
Kolkata, November 5, 2026: Sunday PropTech Limited, a PRISM-backed hospitality ownership company, has expanded its footprint into Eastern India by acquiring an 89-room hotel in Rajarhat, Kolkata, according to a press release issued by the company.
The six-storey property, constructed in 2017, is located near Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport and major commercial hubs, including Ecospace Business Park, Bengal Silicon Valley, and Biswa Bangla Convention Centre. Equipped with food and beverage outlets alongside meeting spaces, the hotel will be repositioned and operated under Clubhouse, the company’s mid-premium hotel brand within the Sunday Collection portfolio.
The acquisition aligns with Sunday PropTech’s strategy of acquiring well-located hospitality assets for long-term value creation. The company plans to utilize PRISM’s hospitality ecosystem, technology platform, distribution network, and centralized revenue management to enhance operating performance and guest experience. Driven by rising commercial activity and business traveler demand, the firm is also evaluating further hotel investment opportunities across West Bengal.

Sunday PropTech continues to grow its domestic and international hospitality portfolio across the premium and mid-premium segments. The company recently acquired eight premium serviced-apartment hotels valued at approximately Rs 800 crore, which will operate under PRISM’s brand ecosystem, including Sunday Hotels, Belvilla, and other brands.
