Ashiana Vatsalya Hosts Senior Living Conclave 2025 in Chennai
Chennai, July 28, 2025: The Senior Living Conclave 2025, hosted by Ashiana Vatsalya at Taj Coromandel, Chennai, had an inspiring gathering of over 500 seniors, families, healthcare professionals and real estate leaders.
The conversations focused on how retirement living is changing with seniors today looking for communities that offer energy, connection and independence rather than just a quiet home. The event reflected Ashiana Vatsalya’s vision of building thoughtful spaces where seniors can live fully and happily.

Ankur Gupta, Joint MD, Ashiana Housing Ltd. and Co founder, Association of Senior Living in India, delivered the keynote address. “At Ashiana Vatsalya, we are creating spaces that empower seniors to live with dignity, joy and purpose. The enthusiastic participation at this conclave reaffirms that seniors today want more than just a home; they want a thriving community that caters to their physical, emotional and social needs.”
Ashiana Vatsalya, located within Mahindra World City, is designed to redefine what retirement living means. Spread over 17.9 acres, it features 6.3 acres of landscaped open areas and a 41,900 sq ft clubhouse with dining facilities, a gym, swimming pool, wellness zones and cultural activity spaces. The first phase includes 258 thoughtfully designed homes with senior-friendly features that ensure comfort and convenience.
The project, with an investment of INR 400 crore, will be delivered in five phases over eight years with each phase completed in around 2 to 2.5 years. The land is under a perpetual lease, providing residents with long-term security.
What sets Ashiana Vatsalya apart is its design focus—66 per cent of the homes are open on three sides for better ventilation and natural light, and 55 per cent offer stunning lake views that bring a sense of peace and calm.
The conclave also highlighted how retirement living is shifting from a needs-based choice to a lifestyle preference. Seniors at the event discussed healthcare support, recreational facilities and the importance of living in a community where they feel engaged and connected. These conversations echo the philosophy behind Ashiana’s senior living communities.
Ashiana Housing has established a strong leadership position in the senior living segment with over 900 homes sold across its existing senior living communities. With the launch of Ashiana Vatsalya, the company marks its eighth senior living project, reaffirming its commitment to building thoughtfully designed spaces where seniors can lead active, fulfilling lives in a warm and caring environment.
Further solidifying its credibility, Ashiana Housing has been recognised as the No. 1 senior living brand in India for the ninth consecutive year by Track2Realty, a testament to its consistent focus and category leadership.
Ashiana Vatsalya was honoured with the “Innovative Concept Project of the Year-Regional” award at the prestigious Golden Bricks Awards 2024 in Dubai, recognising its unique approach to senior living and forward-thinking design.
