Locks & Architectural Solutions by Godrej Launches New Experience Centre in Mysore

New Delhi, October 31, 2025: Locks & Architectural Solutions (LAS), a business of Godrej Enterprises Group (GEG), has launched a new Experience Centre in Mysore to deepen its presence in Karnataka, one of India’s top three markets for locking and architectural solutions. The centre aims to showcase and demonstrate the brand’s latest range of mechanical and digital locks, providing homeowners, developers, and institutional clients a hands-on experience with products that combine safety, design, and sustainability. This launch marks another step in LAS’ broader South India expansion strategy, which includes existing display centres in Bengaluru and planned extensions to other high-growth towns across Karnataka.
With the organised locks market in Karnataka growing at a compound annual growth rate of 6–7 per cent, LAS expects the region to deliver over 33 per cent growth in the next 24 months, propelled by the rising demand for connected and smart locking systems. This trend reflects the increasing adoption of digital locks, which are expected to double their market share over the next three years, highlighting the strategic importance of Mysore as a growth hub.
Mysore was chosen as the next destination for expansion based on rising premium housing demand the city’s increasing preference for digital-first home solutions. The city’s unique combination of heritage appeal and urban growth positions it as an ideal market for LAS to engage with customers seeking innovative, safe, and design-forward solutions.
Designed as a one-stop destination for both retail and professional audiences, the Mysore Experience Centre offers live product demonstrations, interactive workshops, and digital learning tools. Customers can explore the newest range of smart locks, including customised solutions for kitchens and connected homes, while gaining insights into safety, convenience, and aesthetic integration for modern spaces. Reinforcing the Make-in-India vision, all showcased products are locally designed and manufactured, supporting sustainability through responsible sourcing, energy efficiency, and end-of-life recyclability. The centre reflects LAS’ continued commitment to enhancing everyday safety through intelligent design and technology, while contributing to the larger ecosystem of skilled partners and sustainable innovation in India.

Commenting on the launch, Shyam Motwani, Business Head, Locks & Architectural Solutions, a business of Godrej Enterprises Group (GEG) said, “Karnataka has emerged as a strategic growth region for us, driven by rapid urbanisation and rising adoption of digital solutions. Mysore, in particular, reflects the evolving customer appetite for innovation and quality. This new Experience Centre is designed not just to display products but to foster learning and engagement where customers, developers, and channel partners can see, touch, and understand the value of our Make-in-India innovations. We expect Karnataka to contribute significantly to our growth targets, with digital locks expected to double their market share over the next three years.”
