Noida, January 27, 2026: In 2026, luxury housing is set to move beyond the traditional markers of size and price to embrace a more experience-led definition of value. Homebuyers today are no longer swayed solely by expansive layouts or premium addresses; instead, they seek homes that offer privacy, personalization, and a deeper sense of well-being. According to the CBRE-ASSOCHAM report, the luxury housing segment recorded an 85 per cent YoY growth in sales in January-June 2025 with approximately 7,000 units across the top seven cities, including Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai. During the January-June 2025 period, Delhi-NCR led in sales with 4,000 luxury units accounting for a share of 57 per cent share, recording a threefold growth compared to the corresponding period in the previous year.
Meanwhile, as per JLL, 10,245 new housing units were launched in the third quarter (Q3) of 2025, with an astonishing 87 per cent of luxury housing launches concentrated in Gurugram. This recent trend spotlights shifting residential demand, changing price dynamics, and evolving preferences in India’s capital region.
In 2026, luxury homes are increasingly being designed as curated living experiences rather than static real estate assets. Concierge-led services, wellness-centric amenities, spa-grade facilities, private lounges, and hospitality-inspired lobbies are now integral to high-end residential developments. These spaces are thoughtfully crafted to elevate everyday living, offering residents comfort, convenience, and a sense of indulgence within their own communities.
