Safety Week activities conclude at Emaar MGF

Real estate developer, Emaar MGF on Tuesday, concluded the week–long activities at its project sites to celebrate the 44th National Safety Day and Week. The events were organised by the company with active participation by its contractors to emphasise on the importance of safety among its site workers, encouraging them to comply with health, safety and environment (HSE) norms.

The National Safety Day and Week Campaign were founded by the National Safety Council of India, a self-governing and non-profit body. Under this, March 4 is celebrated as National Safety Day across the country, with National Safety Week organised from March 4 to 10.

A press release said the company conducted various safety awareness activities and competitions at its project sites like Palm Terraces Select, Marbella, Capital Towers, Palm Hills, Palm Drive and Emerald Hills in Gurgaon and Mohali Hills in Mohali. The construction workers showed great enthusiasm by actively participating in programmes like safety flag hoisting, safety pledge, safety walk, mock safety drills and demonstration, safety song and safety speeches. Emaar MGF also facilitated prize distribution for the best HSE performers, as well as the most safety-conscious laborers and workers at site.

On the occasion of National Safety Week, we reiterate the importance and significance of health, safety and environment and our continual efforts in meeting and exceeding their higher Standards.”
