India Literacy Board Honors Meritorious Students at Welthy Fisher Children’s Academy

Lucknow, May 2, 2026: In a grand ceremony held today at the Saksharta Niketan campus, Sanjay R. Bhoosreddy, IAS (Retd.), Chairman of the India Literacy Board, felicitated the meritorious students of Welthy Fisher Children’s Academy for their exceptional performance in the UP Board Class 10 Examinations of 2026. The school, which serves many students from economically weaker sections, celebrated a perfect 100% pass rate for the 2025-26 academic session, with all 46 English-medium candidates securing first-division honors, India Literacy Board said in a press release.

Leading the academic achievers was Umme Habiba, who secured the first position in the school with an impressive 88.8%. In recognition of her hard work, Bhoosreddy announced a scholarship to support her higher education for Classes 11 and 12. She will receive ₹3,000 per month for two years—totaling ₹72,000—deposited directly into her bank account, alongside a “Certificate of Excellence.” 

Following closely, Nazish Parveen secured second place with 88.3%, receiving a cash prize of ₹10,000, while Palak Chaurasia took third place with 87.2%, receiving ₹7,000. Additionally, 43 other students who achieved first division were honored with certificates of excellence.

During the ceremony, Sanjay R. Bhoosreddy, who also serves as the Chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA), congratulated the students and faculty on their outstanding success. Highlighting the institution’s commitment to holistic growth, he noted that the campus has been upgraded with a football ground and basketball court. 

He further emphasized the modernization of the classroom experience, stating that “modern arrangements for teaching through Smart Boards have been made in the classrooms, and all computers have been connected through a single-cable networking system.”

Sandhya Tiwari, IAS (Retd.), Director and Secretary of the India Literacy Board, reiterated that the primary mission of Saksharta Niketan is the widespread promotion of high-quality education and literacy. She explained that the institution organizes various personality development programs throughout the year to ensure children can adapt to the requirements of the modern era. 

Underscoring the school’s inclusive philosophy, Tiwari stated: “The main objective of the establishment of Saksharta Niketan is to provide high-level education and the widest possible spread of literacy.” She added that despite the low fees, the goal remains steadfast: “The organization’s objective is that the people at the last mile of society should also get equal opportunity for high-level teaching and learning facilities.”
