Dholera, May 26, 2026: Gujarat’s Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi visited the Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR) to review ongoing developments in the emerging industrial hub and assess the preparedness of supporting infrastructure. Accompanied by senior government officials, including Advisor to the Chief Minister SS Rathore and Industries Secretary Mamta Verma, the high-level delegation toured GAP Group’s Akhilam township located within Dholera’s Activation Area. Company representatives briefed the Deputy CM on the project’s progress and its strategic role in addressing the upcoming residential, commercial, and lifestyle requirements of the rapidly industrializing region, GAP Group said in a press release.

During the site visit, the delegation inspected the studio apartments, co-working spaces, and food court facilities currently under development within the township. GAP Group officials also highlighted their engineering milestones, noting the construction of one of the largest RCC raft foundations for a residential development in Dholera. Sanghavi commended the scale of the facilities, emphasizing that Dholera would witness a sharp increase in demand for ready-to-occupy accommodation in the near future as industrial momentum accelerates. He encouraged developers to expedite execution to align with the influx of fresh corporate investments.

The developer framework welcomed the state’s proactive oversight, presenting the delegation with symbolic gifts reflecting a collective resolve to contribute to India’s long-term economic goals.
