Entries Invited for Second Edition of the CREDAI Awards for Real Estate Excellence 2026

New Delhi, August 10, 2026: The Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI), the apex body of private real estate developers in India, has announced the second edition of the CREDAI Awards for Real Estate Excellence 2026. The awards will recognise excellence across India’s real estate sector through an independent evaluation process conducted by CRISIL, with nominations remaining open until September 15, 2026.
Building on the response to the inaugural edition, which received over 750 nominations from across the country, the second edition has expanded to include 36 award categories. Separate categories have been created under broader segments of ‘Tier-I cities’, ‘Rest of India’, and ‘Overall’ to ensure that projects are evaluated within comparable market environments while reflecting the diversity of India’s real estate landscape.
Open to both CREDAI members and non-members, the awards cover residential, commercial, plotted, and senior living projects, along with categories recognising sustainability, digital innovation, construction technology, corporate social responsibility, and emerging industry leadership. The initiative seeks to recognise projects, organisations, and individuals setting new benchmarks in quality, innovation, and responsible development.

Entries will undergo a comprehensive multi-stage evaluation process comprising documentation review, technical evaluation, independent site visits, and jury deliberations. The evaluation will be conducted independently by CRISIL through a framework designed to ensure transparency, objectivity, and credibility across all award categories.
Shekhar Patel, President, CREDAI, said, “The response to the inaugural edition demonstrated the industry’s confidence in a transparent and merit-based platform for recognising excellence. This year, we have expanded the awards by introducing more categories, enabling much wider representation of the work being undertaken across the country. As one of India’s largest independent real estate awards programmes, the awards recognise not only outstanding projects and organisations but also emerging ideas, responsible development practices, and technological innovation that are shaping Indian real estate. We look forward to seeing more entries from across the country this year.”
After the nomination window closes on September 15, 2026, evaluations and site visits will be conducted by the CRISIL team, followed by jury deliberations. The winners will be announced at the official awards ceremony in December 2026, with developers across the country invited to submit their entries via the dedicated CREDAI portal.
