KPIL Q1 FY27 Revenue Hits Rs 6,408 Crore as Net Profit Surges 46 Percent to Rs 312 Crore

New Delhi, August 12, 2026: Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL), a leading infrastructure EPC company, announced its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, delivering record Q1 performance in revenue, profitability, and order book strength. The company reported a 4 percent year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue to Rs 6,408 crore, while comparable revenue growth, excluding Road SPVs and the Brazil business, stood at 9 percent. Consolidated net profit for the quarter surged 46 percent year-on-year to Rs 312 crore, KPIL said in a press release.

The company achieved its highest-ever Q1 figures for consolidated EBITDA and profit before tax (PBT). Consolidated EBITDA rose 7 percent year-on-year to Rs 562 crore, with margins expanding by 30 basis points to 8.8 percent. PBT increased 45 percent year-on-year to Rs 420 crore, with PBT margin expanding by 190 basis points to 6.6 percent, driven by a diversified business mix and efficient working capital management.

On a standalone basis, KPIL recorded a 9 percent year-on-year revenue growth to Rs 5,482 crore, led by robust performance across its Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Buildings & Factories (B&F), Oil & Gas, and Urban Infrastructure verticals. Standalone EBITDA grew 14 percent to Rs 488 crore with margins approaching 9 percent, while standalone PBT grew 32 percent to Rs 361 crore. Standalone net profit also registered a 32 percent year-on-year gain to reach Rs 265 crore.

KPIL significantly strengthened its balance sheet during the quarter, reducing consolidated net debt by 67 percent year-on-year to Rs 917 crore as of June 30, 2026, while net working capital days dropped by 11 days year-on-year to 80 days. Standalone net debt stood at Rs 752 crore. The company’s financial profile earned a credit rating upgrade from India Ratings & Research to IND AA+/Stable, while its CRISIL ESG rating improved to Strong with a Core ESG rating of 65.

The company reported order inflows of Rs 7,668 crore till date in FY27, including Rs 876 crore received in Q2 FY27 for marquee T&D and Oil & Gas projects in India. KPIL remains favourably placed as L1 in additional orders worth approximately Rs 7,300 crore, bringing total year-to-date order momentum to nearly Rs 15,000 crore. As of June 30, 2026, KPIL’s order book reached an all-time high of Rs 66,607 crore, bolstered by major project wins across T&D, B&F, and water business segments.
