Bollywood Actor Ajay Devgan and Mother Veena Devgan Lease Juhu Bungalow for 5 Years
Mumbai, August 14, 2026: Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan and his mother, producer Veena Devgan, have leased out their sprawling bungalow in Mumbai’s upscale Juhu neighborhood for a five-year term, according to property registration documents reviewed by real estate platform Square Yards on the Maharashtra Inspector General of Registration (IGR) website. The agreement, registered in August 2026, will generate a total estimated rental income of Rs 10.61 crore over the duration of the lease.
The property, located in Kapol CHS Ltd., spans a total built-up area of 724.90 sq. m. (7,803 sq. ft.). According to the leave and license agreement, the transaction involved a security deposit of Rs 48 lakh, alongside a stamp duty payment of Rs 2.71 lakh and registration fees of Rs 1,000.
As per the financial breakdown of the agreement, the monthly rent commences at Rs 16 lakh for the first year and features a 5% annual escalation clause. By the fifth year, the monthly payout will reach approximately Rs 19.45 lakh. Over the full 60-month tenure, the lease will yield a cumulative rental return of roughly Rs 10.61 crore for the owners.
Juhu remains one of Mumbai’s most exclusive residential hubs, famed for its beachfront setting, high-profile celebrity residences, and high land values. The demand for luxury housing in the area continues to be driven by limited land supply alongside proximity to commercial hubs and high-end hospitality venues.
Ajay Devgan, an acclaimed actor, director, and producer who debuted with Phool Aur Kaante (1991) and earned multiple honours including National Film Awards, owns the property jointly with producer Veena Devgan. Veena Devgan, who produced the 1999 film Dil Kya Kare, has long maintained a steady presence in the Hindi film industry while managing family production ventures.
