Noida, August 22, 2026: The Noida Authority has approved the construction of a proposed flyover on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway to improve regional connectivity and manage future traffic flow. Estimated at approximately Rs 85 crore, the infrastructure project will establish direct cross-expressway access connecting Sectors 148, 149, 150, 151, 152, and 153.

According to officials from the Noida Authority, the initiative was initiated “following the directions of the Chief Executive Officer, Noida.” The flyover is designed as an essential long-term connectivity measure to accommodate expected growth in vehicular movement across the developing sectors and surrounding pockets.

Authority officials noted, “The said project is proposed as an important long-term connectivity infrastructure, keeping in view the increasing traffic in the area in the future.” They added that alongside expanding access, “the flyover will also help in managing the increasing traffic in the future” while working to “reduce traffic conflict points, congestion, queueing and delay, and will assist in providing citizens with more convenient, safe and time-bound travel.”

The project is projected to significantly impact local commuting patterns and broader regional mobility. “Approximately two lakh population of the concerned sectors and approximately 20 villages will also benefit from the said project,” officials stated.
