Vera Vita Living Enters Premium Senior Living Sector with Rs 600 Crore Hyderabad Project

New Delhi, September 2, 2026: Vera Vita Living LLP plans to invest Rs 600 crore over five years in Amaya, its maiden senior-living project near the Kandlakoya Reserve Forest in Hyderabad. Founded by Arudradev Rao, Co-Founder of Vera Vita Living, Dhruv Badruka, Co-Founder of Vera Vita Living LLP, and Tanay Saboo, Co-Founder of Vera Vita Living, the company has identified 1.5 million sq. ft. of development potential across a 13-acre master plan. The initial phase will feature 256 residences across three acres, Vera Vita Living said in a press release.
India’s senior-living market is currently valued at Rs 30,000 crore and could exceed Rs 1 lakh crore by 2030. Additional research by JLL and the Association of Senior Living India projects the sector could expand by over 300 percent to reach Rs 64,500 crore by the end of the decade, driven by shifting demographics, nuclear families, and rising financial independence.

“Today’s seniors are financially independent, well travelled, socially active and attentive to health and wellness. They want thoughtfully designed communities where they can continue to live independently and pursue their interests,” said Dhruv Badruka.
Developers are shifting away from traditional retirement homes toward hospitality-backed residential ecosystems featuring dining, preventive healthcare, and community activities.
“At Amaya, premium living is not only about the residence or the amenities. It is about giving people independence, dignity, choice, companionship and peace of mind. Services and support should work quietly in the background,” said Arudradev Rao.
While southern hubs like Bengaluru, Chennai, and Coimbatore lead in supply, Hyderabad is gaining traction due to strong healthcare infrastructure, international connectivity, available land parcels, and a large NRI-linked demographic.

“Hyderabad brings together strong healthcare, international connectivity, expanding infrastructure and globally exposed families. We believe the city can become an important market for hospitality-led senior living,” said Tanay Saboo.
