Fortune Hotels Announces Key General Manager and Corporate Leadership Appointments
New Delhi, September 9, 2026: Fortune Hotels, a member of the ITC Hotels Group, has announced key leadership appointments across several of its properties and corporate operations to drive operational performance and elevate guest experience.
At Fortune Avenue, Jalandhar, Abhishake Bali, General Manager, takes charge with over 16 years of industry experience across hotel operations, revenue enhancement, and guest services. He previously served as General Manager at Sarovar Portico, Ajmer, and has held roles with major brands, including Sarovar Hotels, Royal Orchid Hotels, Clarks Group, and Marriott.\
At Fortune Jungle Resort & Spa, Jim Corbett, Sandeep Singh Pal, General Manager, brings more than 15 years of hospitality expertise to his new role. He previously associated with The Golden Tusk, Jim Corbett, and has worked with leading brands such as Taj Hotels and Radisson Hotels.
Further expanding its operational leadership, Fortune Hotels has appointed Somusundaram S, General Manager, Fortune Hosur. With over 27 years of experience in hotel operations, turnarounds, and business transformation, he previously served as General Manager & Business Head at Skylar Hotel, Tirupati, and has held positions with The Oberoi Group, Taj Hotels, and Lemon Tree Hotels.
At Fortune Park Saharanpur, Tapajit Bhattacharjee, General Manager, takes over property operations following a 20-year career across India and the Middle East. A certified HACCP Leader, he previously served as Director of Food & Beverage at Radisson Blu Greater Noida, with prior background at Burj Al Arab, Emirates Palace, Hyatt, and Hilton.
Additionally, Fortune Hotels has strengthened its corporate team by appointing Ishan Thakur, Corporate Manager, F&B Service. Bringing over 18 years of F&B leadership experience, including his recent role as Food & Beverage Manager at Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort, he will oversee F&B service standards and commercial performance across the brand portfolio.
