NextGen Wing of NAREDCO Maharashtra Announces New Leadership

Mumbai, September 10, 2026: The NextGen Wing of NAREDCO Maharashtra has appointed Raunak Bandelkar, President of NAREDCO Maharashtra NextGen, succeeding Vikas Jain, Outgoing President of NAREDCO Maharashtra NextGen. The leadership transition took place on the sidelines of the 6th Real Estate & Infrastructure Investors’ Summit 2026 in Mumbai, with Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, present at the event, NAREDCO Maharashtra said in a press release.
The transition reflects the organization’s ongoing strategy to develop emerging talent and foster innovation within the state’s property sector. During his term, the outgoing leadership established ‘Excelerate,’ a program focused on professional networking, knowledge exchange, and industry integration for younger real estate executives.

“NextGen was envisioned as a platform where young professionals could connect, learn, exchange ideas and gradually take on greater responsibility,” said Vikas Jain, Outgoing President of NAREDCO Maharashtra NextGen. “Initiatives such as Excelerate have helped build that foundation and create stronger engagement among the next generation. I am confident that Raunak and the new team will take this forward with renewed energy and create an even stronger platform for emerging leaders.”
Organizational leaders highlighted the role of the youth wing in promoting engagement among emerging professionals as the state experiences rapid urbanization, infrastructure growth, and regulatory shifts.

“Vikas Jain has made a valuable contribution to strengthening NextGen and creating greater participation among young professionals,” said Kamlesh Thakur, President of NAREDCO Maharashtra. “His efforts, particularly through initiatives such as Excelerate, have helped build strong momentum for the platform. As NextGen enters its next phase, we warmly welcome Raunak Bandelkar as the new President and look forward to his leadership in taking the initiative forward with renewed energy, wider participation and fresh perspectives.”
Assuming office, the incoming executive outlined key focus areas, emphasizing enhanced transparency, digital integration, and customer-focused practices across the state’s real estate framework.
“The responsibility of leading NextGen comes with a deep sense of gratitude for the trust placed, and an equally strong sense of responsibility for the journey ahead,” said Raunak Bandelkar, President of NAREDCO Maharashtra NextGen. “NAREDCO Maharashtra NextGen represents a generation that is ready not merely to inherit the future of real estate, but to reimagine it. The vision is to create more voices at the table, translate more ideas into action and bring more young leaders to the forefront, while drawing from the experience and wisdom of those who have built the foundation before us.”
